WELCOME TO OUR FRANCHISE PAGE

Our business is largely franchise-based. The original business was established in 2005. And was run as a single-proprietor business based in Strand / Somerset West, and served clients in and around Cape Town. In 2007 the possibility of becoming a franchise-based business was born, but the idea did not last very long as the business was mainly focused on the typical OHS market namely, Construction and Civil Engineering, with very little intellectual property attached, and even less of a business edge over other competitors. After a change of ownership in 2008 and a year of intensive research and development, Vlame SA was born, which eventually developed to the Vlame Group encompassing several divisions.

Today we have a very successful business model. We have part-time franchisees (people who are involved in more than one business), we have full-time franchisees (who earn all their income from their Vlame Franchise), and we have community based franchises, where we allow communities to share in their own success through partnership establishment. Some of our highlights from 2013 - Early 2013 one of our full-time franchisees negotiated a national client in only their second month of operation, worth R 500 000 over 3 years. The milestone of a part-time franchisee earning more than R 60 000 per calendar month was realised during June 2013. What makes this more amazing is that the franchisee (who also owns a paint-store) achieved this without any additional consultants employed. By Aug 2013 we embarked on our first community-based partnership/franchise, and employed two youngsters, trained them, and send them out generate their own work. By November 2013, their business was earning in excess of R 30 000 a month. The success of these models will see us expanding further on this in 2014 to other areas and regions.

While we have no franchise solely owned and operated by Head-Office, we have partnerships in some franchises, where 51% of shares is held by Head-Office, and 49% by a franchise partner. Our franchise criteria is to look at how each person who wish to join our group can contribute to our group. To the benefit of everyone in the group. By following this very simple process, we have amassed an amazing business model. We lead the way in OHS, and earning capacity by far, we have a skill-base which is equaled by none, and this enable our franchisees to market their franchise in segments never even approached before by the typical Health & Safety Consultants, while still being capable of taking on the typical market and compete.
